Hello Everyone,
I’m like you, I read many blogs everyday. But when visiting those blogs, most often I feel lack of some features on those blogs. Today I’ve decided to share about these things. I highly recommend you to read this post and check that your blog have these things enabled. OK Let’s Start:

1. Let Them Know; Who Are You?
There are thousands of blogs where people’s (Blog Owner’s) hide themselves, even their NAME! They replaced their name with “ADMIN” or “BLOG ADMIN.”
How idiot idea it is!
When I find any blog useful, then I look forward to knowing about the blog author, perhaps you too. But when I notice that the author is ADMIN or BLOG ADMIN; I think something negative. I think the article is either Robot Generated or Copy Pasted! Really I think so; most probably their readers too.
People never want to read from a Robot (Auto Generated) or Copy Pasted. So don’t be a ROBOT, be a REAL MAN.
When your readers will see, you’re a man like them, they remember you and your blog and revisit your blog.
If you have an about page and visitor tracking script (i.e. Google Analytics) installed, you might noticed that your about page is the most viewed page after the home page. So, those people who are not created an ABOUT page; are missing at least one pageview per (new) visitor.
2. Don’t Make Your Readers Dumb:
Blog is the most powerful media because there visitors can express their thoughts about the blog article. Readers can join the discussion and make your blog more content rich. But if you switch commenting off on your blog, it will no longer remain a blog. It will be one-sided like other static website.
3. Be Accessible:
If you look at the big blogs, you might noticed, there are hundreds of comment’s on each article, but it doesn’t mean that the blog has only 100′s visitors. These blog have thousands of visitors per day. And there only a small portion of visitors actively join on the discussion. May be you’re like them; you won’t leave a comment.
But…………… still you have a chance to make me know about your thoughts and ideas. You might have any secret things on your mind that don’t want to express publicly. You can still tell me the secret words by the contact form.
I often receive some secret words from my readers; which inspire me a lot. If I do something wrong, they make me correct. So, if you’re not using any contact form, you’re missing these things.
4. Make Your Blog Search-able:
Please don’t misunderstand me! I’m not talking about SEO, I’m talking about creating an easy option for your readers to find out necessary information’s. Yeah! I’m talking about an archive page; it can be categorized archive or monthly archive. It will help your readers to find out old articles. Look at my Archive Page here.
You may also place a search box; to help your readers to find out the exact information they need.
5. Notify Your readers about update:
Offering a FEED subscription is smart way to notify your readers about blog update. Feedburner is smartest feed burning tool. There are thousands of millions of blogs on the net. So, it is too hard to remember the URL of those blogs and to check manually when these blogs are been updated. So, I prefer RSS FEED or E-mail Subscription and I know you also prefer this method.
But you’re not offering these subscription methods, you’re missing returning visitors.
You may subscribe to my Full RSS FEED or subscribe to our Free e-mail updates to know what is coming up next?
6. Branding Your Blog:
FaceBook FAN Page: Now a days, almost all the internet you users are FaceBooker (FaceBook User). They use facebook to be engaged with their friends and many people to pass time. As a blogger you can grab the chance; branding your blog.
You should create a FaceBook FAN page and offer your visitors to be your FAN on Facebook and also persuade them to suggest it to their friends to join on the FAN page. It will help to grow up your network and branding your blog and also to get visitors.
You can be my FAN on FaceBook by clicking on the Like Button bellow:
Twitter Branding: Twitter is another way to brand your blog. Many people call it MICRO-BLOGGING platform. But I want to call it “THE SMART BLOG BRANDING TOOL.” You must have to have a dedicated twitter account and make your visitors know about the twitter account and encourage them to follow you on twitter. So when you tweet about your blog post, they will see the link and will visit your blog.
You may follow me on twitter: @EunusHosen.
7. Let Them Spread Your Words:
Today’s people are too busy (or lazy), they don’t want to do lots of works, they want shortcut technique. That’s why you should make sharing options easy and shortcut, so that your visitors can easily share your article with friends. I’ve make it so easy with share this wordpress plugin.
You just have to point your mouse pointer on the text “Share With Friends” like the image bellow:
So You can easily make my article share with friends by clicking on the desired icon (i.e. facebook, twitter, digg).
If you’re not giving this options to your readers, your are losing many visitors.
Again, Check out these seven things are enabled on your blog and have a happy blogging!

Stacey Cavanagh´s last [type] ..A Little Social Media Rhyme Terribly Geeky-
Welcome, Stacey Cavanagh to my dot com diary. I’m very much happy to see you here. You’ve come from blogussion, right?
In a sense Alamin is right, dedicated facebook user won’t think about visiting any blog. But as Eunus is saying it can work as a brand publicity. Some publicity is just to make sure your presence in Facebook. That’s why you should have one.

Nice list. I think the key to what needs to be done is to not hide behind your blog, come out, interact with your visitors, and provide a means for others to interact with you.
That’s right Paul. Thanks for your comment.
